WHAT IS LYMPHOMA : INTRODUCTION
Lymphoma Lymphoma is a malignant tumor or cancer of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for fighting infections and is an important part of the body's immune system. The lymphatic system consists of lymph, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, spleen, bone marrow, and liver. Lymphatic fluid is the fluid in the lymphatic system that carries lymphocytes that fight microbes or pathogens that invade the body. Lymphocytes accumulate in the lymph nodes, where they fight against microorganisms. To reach a part of the body, the lymph passes through the system's lymphatic vessels or channels, called lymphatic vessels. Once the pathogen is filtered and destroyed, the lymph is now transferred to the spleen, which is the blood cell, the dead lymphocytes, and the place where the pathogen is stored.
